Brad Muritiz, a lonely and solemn detective broken by his previous relationship is seen as a troubled individual by his female boss, under these circumstances she sends him to rebuild his self-esteem in The
Farlands. But unbeknown to her this is a place familiar to Muritiz from both his carefree dreams of childhood and more significantly his tortured nightmares as a young adult.

Upon his arrival at the coastal village known as The Headland Muritiz is surprised to sense that an atmosphere of peaceful tranquility prevails, little does he know that this is simply the calm before the storm.

Muritiz investigates the strange disappearance of a young girl only to discover that all is not what it seems in this forbidding frozen landscape where the specter of memory eats away at the heart of passion.

Haunted by unresolved memories he gains strength in his journey and finds that the darkness hides many secrets!

As the dawn unfolds its grey whispering tendrils Muritiz has the realisation that something once thought to be left behind in the safe hallowed halls of childhood is actually still very much alive in
the present moment.
